Yan Wang(b.1988) is a landscape architect and an emerging multidisciplinary artist. Born and raised in South China, Yan move to Beijing, to study painting and architecture in Central Academy of Fine Arts, and later relocated to Providence, RI to train as a landscape architect at the Rhode Island School of Design. Yan uses architectural investigations as a means of revealing psychological, ecological, and sociological truths, especially regarding the relationship between humans and nature. Her works include installation art, public art, drawings and paintings. Now she lives and works in Philadelphia.
